Christmas

I have a pre-new years resolution. I am determined to keep this up, rather than leave it for several months before posting something new.

I've been thinking quite a bit recently. On Sunday, the BBC had a Top Gear evening and I watched Richard Hammond meets Evil Knievel. It was really moving because Evil still believed that he was Evil Knieval, despite being a frail old man, which made it harder for him to open up on his path but when Richard asked if him if he still dreams and plans jumps he said that he didn't because that part of his life was over. That was quite sad because he had no dreams left, even if he was near the end of his life (it was shot in the summer, and Evil died on the 30th November 2007). I hope that when I am older I will still have dreams even if I can't ever acomplish them. What was more moving was that towards the end of the documentary, Evil asked Richard to visit his headstone which he did. On it was a list of word to live for which included work, education, life etc. but the last word was dreams and I found it quite sad that a man who no longer had any dreams said that they were to live for.

Anyway, enough ramblings from my mind - it's CHRISTMAS! I know I probably shouldn't be writing this today but tough; I'm waiting for the turkey which I swear always takes longer than the extra time that has already been allowed. I'd better go now.

Merry Christmas

OMG!

OMG! I almost forgot this thing actually existed! I have been so busy since October with coursework (especially textiles) and exams that I haven't had time to write.

I haven't actually got that much time now but I will give you a very brief update now and add a more detailed account later.

A quick note on the Bishop's Award situation. I retook the exam in February and I passed by 8 marks (which is better than failing by 3) which means that I have now gained the award that I have also wanted. Yipee!

Anyway, I need to go now as I ought to be in bed as I have to get up tomorrow to revise. Yay!
